This is a rich, well-rounded red wine that is smooth, complex and very long in flavour. The nose offers a complex and generous bouquet of fruit and spice, plums, mulberry, liquorice, ripe forest berries and a hint of gaminess – all of which are underscored by toasty, coconut nuances derived from the extended oak maturation. The palate is the highlight of the wine, exhibiting the rich and vibrant varietal berry-fruit flavours. This wine is well suited to cheeses, Italian cuisine, red meats and even some spicy Asian dishes or can be just sipped on its own.

Lewison Wine Estates is located on the Woorinen-Swan Hill Rd approximately 4 km from Swan Hill. The 111 acre vineyard encompasses 64 acres of Shiraz, 37 acres of Cabernet, 5 acres of Merlot and 5 acres of Chardonnay planted between 1997 and 1999. 

The Vineyard is certified 'A grade' organic. We currently produce four wines under our 'Red Centre' label; 06 Chardonnay, 06 Rose, 06 Cabernet Merlot(Silver Medal) and the 07 Shiraz (bronze medal). This range has proved very popular on our domestic market as well being exported to Japan, Taiwan, Singapore and the UK.
